We will be happy to help you. Here are a few tips to help you determine which type of pre-owned truck you should buy.
Ultimately, choosing the right used truck will depend on your needs.
How much do you want to tow?
If you will be using your pickup truck for towing, you will want to determine how much you want to tow on a regular basis. Knowing that will allow you to choose the right truck for your towing needs. If you are planning to tow over 10,000 pounds on a regular basis with your used pickup, a full-size or heavy-duty pre-owned truck is the best option. If you are towing a small camper or snowmobiles or just towing occasionally, a midsize truck or a used pickup with a smaller six-cylinder engine might be appropriate.
What do you want to put in the box?
Used trucks come in all sizes with bed lengths varying from 5 feet to 8 feet in general. That is quite a range of available bed sizes and knowing what you want to be put in the bed on a regular basis is important to choose the right used truck. If you plan on carrying large sheets of material or long 2x4s regularly, you might be better suited with a used truck featuring a 6-foot or 8-foot length. However, if you won't be putting long objects in the bed on a regular basis, buying a smaller truck with a 5-foot bed will be appropriate and will make manoeuvring around the city a lot easier.
